That's right, its that time of year! Time for us to gather together as Hwa Rang Do brothers and sisters and compete in the Annual Midwest Tournament! Every year we showcase our skills, and compete in 5 areas: Open Hand Forms, Weapon Forms, and Sparring, Weapon Sparring and Go Too Gi (submission grappling). After the tournament, we will be heading out for a group dinner to celebrate the success of our event and share a meal with our Hwa Rang Do brothers and sisters from across the midwest.

Please take the time and read all the documents linked, and we can't wait to see you on April 28th and 29th! Any questions should be directed to your Instructor.

The Rules:
The Rules of the tournament will follow standard WHRDA MASTERS Rules for all divisions. Please make sure you are familiar with the rules for the divisions you wish to participate in. Also remember that you must have ALL REQUIRED equipment for sparring, grappling, and weapon fighting matches. While Grappling uniforms are STRONGLY recommended for all grappling divisions, they are not required for "Positioning" divisions, however, yes they are required for "Submission" divisions.
