Hwa Rang Do is a Korean martial art containing thousands of kicking and punching combinations, weapons, joint manipulations, throws, ground fighting techniques, as well as ki development, meditation, and healing arts. There is no other martial art that can match its comprehensive curriculum and remarkable versatility.
Hwa Rang Do Madison has served south central Wisconsin for over two decades. It is directly affiliated with and sanctioned by the World Hwa Rang Do Association and Dr. Joo Bang Lee, Supreme Grandmaster of Hwa Rang Do. The ancient art of Hwa Rang Do and undergraduate program, Tae Soo Do are both taught at the Madison Academy.

Hwa Rang Do Midwest Championships April 28th and 29th!
That's right, its that time of year! Time for us to gather together as Hwa Rang Do brothers and sisters and compete in the Annual Midwest Tournament! Every year we showcase our skills, and compete in 5 areas: Open Hand Forms, Weapon Forms, and Sparring, Weapon Sparring and Go Too Gi (submission grappling). After the tournament, we will be heading out for a group dinner to celebrate the success of our event and share a meal with our Hwa Rang Do brothers and sisters from across the midwest.
